Order Processing

Once your order is confirmed, we begin preparing your Stock Tank for dispatch.

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 weeks, depending on stock availability, freight scheduling, and location.

You will be notified once your order has been dispatched.


Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframe is 2–3 weeks from order confirmation.

Timeframes may vary based on:

  • Location (metro vs regional)
  • Freight carrier scheduling
  • Weather conditions
  • Peak seasonal demand
  • Site access requirements

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


Delivery Method

Due to the size and weight of our products, delivery is arranged via specialised freight carriers.

Delivery may be completed either:

  • To a local freight depot for customer collection, or
  • Directly to your nominated delivery address

The delivery method is determined based on factors including location, freight availability, and cost efficiency, and will be confirmed prior to dispatch.

We reserve the right to select the most appropriate delivery method for your order.

Where delivery is made to a freight depot, collection is required by the customer.

Delivery is to ground level only.

Placement, lifting, crane hire, or positioning beyond standard drop-off is not included unless agreed in writing prior to dispatch.


Depot Collection (Important)

Where delivery is to a freight depot:

  • You are responsible for collecting the tank from the depot
  • You must arrange appropriate transport (e.g. trailer or ute)

You must inspect the tank at the depot before leaving.

Any damage must be reported immediately at the time of collection.

Claims for damage after leaving the depot may not be accepted.


Site Access Requirements

For deliveries to your address, you must ensure:

  • Safe and clear access for delivery vehicles
  • Adequate turning space
  • Suitable driveway or hard surface access
  • No overhead obstructions (e.g. low branches or powerlines)

If delivery cannot be completed due to site access issues, additional delivery or re-delivery fees may apply.


Unloading Responsibility

Stock Tanks are large and heavy products.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • You are responsible for ensuring appropriate assistance or equipment is available to receive the tank
  • Freight drivers are not required to assist with moving the tank beyond the delivery point

Delivery Attempts, Storage & Redelivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Customer unavailability
  • Site access issues
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery details

Additional charges may apply, including:

  • Re-delivery fees
  • Storage fees charged by the freight provider

These costs may be passed on to the customer.


Risk & Inspection

You must inspect the tank immediately upon delivery or collection.

Any damage must be reported within 48 hours with clear photos, in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, risk in the product passes upon delivery or collection.

Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Freight carrier disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Industrial action
  • Access restrictions
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

We will communicate delays where reasonably possible.


Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

Additional freight charges may apply for:

  • Incorrect addresses
  • Re-delivery requests

3-Week Delivery Guarantee

We guarantee delivery within 3 weeks of order confirmation for standard stock tank orders to metro areas. If we fail to deliver within this timeframe through no fault of the customer, contact us at hello@terratanks.com.au to discuss your options.

This guarantee does not apply to custom orders, regional/remote deliveries, or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (freight disruptions, weather events, industrial action).
